Labor Day is celebrated by
most Americans as the symbolic end of the summer. Sadly, this summer is ending
soon, it’s gone by way too fast! Don’t fret, there are plenty of picnics, barbecues,
fireworks display, parties, and other events to distract you.
Here’s a breakdown of some of the fun activities in and around Boston,
MA on this three-day weekend.
Fireworks. Every year, the city of Boston, MA launches a huge firework display
for all to enjoy at the Boston Harbor. The best spots to see the display is at
the Christopher Columbus Park or the Long Warf in the North End. The magic
happens at 9pm the Thursday before Labor Day.
Play local. Most Boston locals head to the Cape, the Islands
(Nantucket and the Vineyard), or the mountains - so if you're planning a Labor
Day, you'll find it easier than usual to make reservations easily in local
restaurants, see a show, cruise around Boston Harbor, go shopping for Labor Day
sales - and even find some Boston hotel bargains.
Red Sox. Our beloved Sox will be out of town over Labor Day
but right after the holiday we host the Twins for three days and the following
weekend they will take on the New York Yankees at Fenway. Extend the long
weekend and have some fun the following weekend. Check
out the schedule and available tickets at www.MLB.com.
I hope you enjoy every last bit of our summer here in Boston. If you're
visiting us in hopes of buying a home in Boston, MA, please contact a Boston, MA real
