As
the winter drags on and we spend more and more time in our Boston
homes we all can get a bit stir crazy. These short, dreary
winter days have me craving more brightness in my life. Chances are
you were timid with colors when decorating
your Boston home. Join me in adding some color to your
home and welcome in 2015 with a bang.
Add
a pop of color. Going colorful
does not mean you need brightly painted walls all around. One of the
best ways to get a full kick of color from your bold palette choice
is to layer it over a neutral wall color. Add a large splash of
color in various elements of the room, such as pillows, vases, or an
accent table.
Highlight
an accent piece. On the
contrary, you could go bold with one large statement piece, instead
of small details. Choose a piece of furniture that has a style you
love and highlight it with a bold color.
Go
bold with an accent wall. 2014
was the year of the accent wall and this year it will take more than
a tinted wall to grab attention. Go for a bold statement with jewel
tones and add a striking accent wall to your home. Transform from
wah to wow!
Don't
forget the ceiling and floors. Often
overlooked are the ceiling and the floor. While I don't recommend
painting either, you can add to your color splash with a colorful
chandelier or an eye-catching rug.
If
you are ready for a new canvas and are prepping
your Boston
home
to
sell then

MA Real Estate Agent I am well versed in what it takes to get the
job done. Please contact
